The sports city
Swimming, light athletics, tennis, shooting, soccer, baseball, handball ? the range of sports being played in Schwäbisch Hall is quite impressive. Even the "Unicorns" are a first division figurehead in American Football for the city. But Halle athletes are also playing on a top level. 47 gymnastics and sports clubs with 22 sports halls and 25 outdoor playing fields ensure an athletic balance of the the citizens ? and nearly every other of them is a member.
Sports for one is recreation for somebody else: In the Schenkenseebad (Schenkensee Bath), one of the largest and nicest water parks of the region, bathing is guaranteed to be fun for the entire family. And those who want to "fill up" on wellness will find one of the nicest spa, bathing and sauna oasis of the region in the Solbad (Brine Bath) Schwäbisch Hall.
Those who live nature will find paradise at their fingertips: Hiking in a beautiful landscape, biking on the Kocher-Jagst-Radweg (Bicycle Path), kayaking on the river Kocher, horse-riding, walking or jogging meetings: the opportunities in this spacious landscape are nearly limitless.
? only flying is more impressive. No matter if from the aviation sport area at the airport Weckrieden or from the Einkorn, the point at 510 meters: Gliders, airplanes and hang-gliders can take off in Schwäbisch Hall.
