Schwäbisch Hall

Schwäbisch Hall, learning place for people from all over the world

A Goethe Institute was established in Schwäbisch Hall in 1965. It is accommodated in a vast historical building in the centre of the old town. This building was renovated and refurnished in 1996.

Learning German effectively and successfully on a high level; getting to know people, country, culture - this is the common task of all Goethe Institutes.

The fact that Schwäbisch Hall will host the only provincial town institute remaining in Germany is evidence of the excellent work on site. It is also the result of the unique commitment by the citizens and the lasting support by the community.

Other than German courses, the institute organises concerts (mostly by course participants), lectures, exhibitions and the traditional summer party.

Students from all over the world encounter the German language and culture here, enjoying the atmosphere of a lively, historically appealing provincial town. The friends' association organises many activities, and easy contact with students from all over the world is made in the canteen and the cafeteria.
