The municipalities of Michelfeld, Rosengarten and Schwäbisch Hall have joined forces and developed the new inter-municipal industrial estate Schwäbisch Hall-West so that the area can continue to grow and create new jobs. Hermann-Josef Pelgrim (Lord Mayor of Schwäbisch Hall) feels confident; "The new inter-municipal industrial estate will significantly enhance the economic region of Schwäbisch Hall." There are attractive opportunities for existing and new companies on an area of around 55 hectares. The site is close to the Stadtheide and Kerz industrial estates towards the south and is linked directly to the new western bypass. The A6 motorway is within easy reach. This is an important factor for Jürgen König (Mayor of Rosengarten): There will continue to be sustained interest in industrial building sites in the Schwäbisch Hall region due to the attractive location and range of services provided by the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft (Administrative Partnership) in Schwäbisch Hall. Companies will be happy to embrace this range of services." Using the slogan "Together we are Strong," the three municipalities are seeking a cooperative partnership and not competition, states Wolfgang Binnig (Mayor of Michelfeld): "Together we are creating space for new opportunities, ideas and growth."
